Ratnagiri, Aug 14 (NationPress) Minister of Ports and Fisheries Nitesh Rane stated on Thursday that the Hindu community was instrumental in establishing the MahaYuti government in Maharashtra, emphasizing that voters from other religions abstained from participating.
“Although you may have roamed through the neighborhood, their votes eluded you. The Hindu community rallied behind MahaYuti to assume power, hence it is our duty to serve and safeguard the Hindu community,” the minister remarked during a Rakhi collection event held for Rakhi Bandhan in Chiplun, Ratnagiri district.
He further commented, “When we observe incidents like love jihad, it underscores the necessity for a Hindutva government. While development is essential, what value does it hold if we cannot ensure the safety of women in our state?”
“In our state, our mothers and sisters face inappropriate gazes during instances of jihad. Collecting rakhis symbolizes our response. Today, we gathered 14 thousand rakhis, which were distributed to each and every one of them. The impact of this will be seen in the days to come. Hindutva will gain further strength,” stated Minister Rane.
Minister Rane indicated that incidents of love jihad are prevalent in every village, including Ratnagiri district. “Our answer lies in united efforts as Hindus. Everyone must feel that if anyone gazes at our mothers and sisters inappropriately, they will face consequences,” he asserted.
“Our commitment as Hindus is robust. The women in the state firmly believe that our brother Devendra Fadnavis is fulfilling the roles of both Chief Minister and Home Minister. Thanks to the decisions made by Devendra Fadnavis post his appointment as Chief Minister, no one in the state can disrespect our sisters. Every sister feels secure against situations resembling Love Jihad,” he claimed.
He affirmed that it is the responsibility of the workers to elect the government. Hence, workers should engage with the public by addressing government initiatives. The positions we hold are a product of the workers' efforts, providing us strength,” he added.
Earlier, Minister Rane articulated that the government based on Hindutva ideology is in Maharashtra, which will not tolerate love jihad, land jihad, or cow slaughter. He hinted at the possibility of implementing strict legislation against conversions.
He cautioned that if a specific community does not cease love jihad, land jihad, and disrespect towards Gau Mata, the government will track them down and ensure they are imprisoned one by one.
“In our Hindu Rashtra, the welfare of Hindus will be prioritized,” concluded the Minister.
