New Delhi, Sep 27 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to conduct essential meetings with BJP leaders and party workers in the districts of Araria, Saran, and Vaishali in Bihar this Saturday, as part of the party's ramped-up efforts for the forthcoming Assembly elections.
As per party insiders, Shah will kick off his day with a regional meeting in Sarairanjan, Samastipur at 11:30 A.M., followed by another gathering in Forbesganj, Araria at 2:30 P.M. After these meetings, he will head to Purnia Airport for his return trip to Delhi.
These zonal-level discussions will also involve BJP officials from adjacent districts, aimed at energizing the grassroots workers for a crucial electoral showdown.
This visit is notable as it marks the second day of Shah's two-day tour of Bihar.
On the previous day, HM Shah initiated the trip with a workers' meeting in Bettiah, West Champaran. During the assembly with party workers from the Champaran and Saran regions, he stressed the importance of unity and dedication, instructing them to be prepared for battle and to secure a resounding victory for the NDA in the upcoming state elections.
Shah is currently overseeing a series of zonal meetings, with Bihar segmented into five organizational zones for enhanced coordination. In the Bettiah meeting, participants included workers from 45 Assembly constituencies spanning 10 organizational districts. These individuals are the essential booth-level workers who form the backbone of the BJP's election strategy.
"...In Bettiah, Bihar, I convened a meeting with senior BJP workers from the Champaran and Saran regions concerning the impending elections and provided necessary directives. The workers from 45 Assembly constituencies across 10 organizational districts are those who tirelessly operate right down to the booth level. These regions will be pivotal in establishing a government in the state with a significant majority for the NDA," Shah posted on X.
Accompanying Shah in these strategic discussions are newly appointed Bihar BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in-charges CR Patil and Keshav Maurya, and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde.
Additionally, the BJP has unveiled a list of 'Pravasi' leaders, MPs, and senior leaders from other states who will be stationed in Bihar to supervise the campaign across various constituencies. This includes MPs from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, and J&K.
