Hyderabad, March 17 (NationPress) In a shocking incident, armed robbers stole Rs one crore from two individuals by using chilli powder to blind them in the Kukatpally region of Hyderabad.

This robbery occurred late on Monday night within the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The police reported that four men on two motorcycles ambushed the victims, dousing them with chilli powder before escaping with the cash.

The authorities have established four special teams to locate the perpetrators and retrieve the stolen funds.

Officials believe that the cash involved may be associated with a hawala transaction.

The individuals carrying the cash have been identified as Khusro and Azeemuddin, who reside in the Bahadurpura area of the city.

They were in the process of transporting the suspected hawala money from Kukatpally to Jeedimetla.

There was an alleged hawala deal occurring in the apartment across from the Kukatpally Police Station. Investigators are working to identify the person who provided the cash to the victims and the intended recipient.
