This robbery occurred late on Monday night within the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The police reported that four men on two motorcycles ambushed the victims, dousing them with chilli powder before escaping with the cash.

In a related development, four suspects were reportedly detained at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad while attempting to escape to Lucknow.
The police tracked these suspects using CCTV footage.

The police initiated an investigation and arrested Biswa Oraw, also known as Bishu, a 25-year-old construction worker from West Bengal. He allegedly confessed to sexually assaulting the girl before killing her.
