New Delhi, June 21 (NationPress) In a remarkable display of unity, discipline, and wellness, the Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on Saturday with a grand event at the renowned Attari-Wagah Border, embracing the global theme, 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health.'
This momentous occasion witnessed participation from over 1,000 attendees, including BSF personnel, Indian Army soldiers, their families, local villagers, students, and other esteemed guests.
The lively and symbolic gathering took place at the Joint Check Post (JCP) Attari, creating a unique setting for honoring India’s ancient wellness tradition at one of its most prominent international borders.
Inspector General of BSF Punjab Frontier, Atul Fulzele, stated, “During the 11th International Day of Yoga, we engaged in yoga practices at the JCP Attari premises. BSF personnel, Indian Army soldiers, BSF families, border villagers, and children all joined in, with approximately a thousand individuals participating in the session.”
He highlighted the significance of yoga in enhancing not only physical strength but also mental resilience, particularly for the armed forces and communities along the border.
