New Delhi, Jan 13 (NationPress) The Diplomatic Advisor to French President Emmanuel Macron, Emmanuel Bonne, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, where the Prime Minister expressed his contentment with the current direction of the bilateral relationship. After their discussion, Modi took to X to share his positive sentiments about the meeting.

He stated, "It was a pleasure to engage with Emmanuel Bonne, the Diplomatic Advisor to President Macron. We reaffirmed the robust and trusted India–France Strategic Partnership, characterized by close collaboration across various sectors. It is encouraging to witness our partnership expanding into innovation, technology, and education, especially as we celebrate the India–France Year of Innovation."

The Prime Minister also mentioned that both sides exchanged insights on significant regional and global matters and expressed eagerness for President Macron’s upcoming visit to India.

The meeting followed the 38th India–France Strategic Dialogue, which was co-chaired earlier in the day by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the French official in New Delhi. This dialogue reaffirmed the depth and vastness of the bilateral partnership.

As per the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the strategic dialogue assessed the full range of India–France cooperation, encompassing security, defense, technology, space, and civil nuclear energy.
