“India has been collaborating with nations in the IOR on numerous fronts, including development partnerships, defence, maritime security, capacity building, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief. The German representatives acknowledged India’s significant role in the IOR,” the MoD added.
The two parties stressed the importance of a closer defence partnership and connecting the industries of both countries, particularly in the realm of niche technology.
The longstanding relationship between India and Germany is built on shared values and mutual aspirations.
