Jammu, April 30 (NationPress) The Pakistan Army has commenced unprovoked fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir for the sixth day in a row, prompting a swift and measured response from the Indian Army.
The spokesperson for the Defence Ministry stated, "During the night of April 29-30, 2025, posts from the Pakistan Army engaged in unprovoked small-arms fire across the LoC near the Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor sectors in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir."
"Indian Army personnel reacted promptly and appropriately," the spokesperson added.
On April 28-29, the Pakistan Army had again resorted to unprovoked small arms fire across the LoC, affecting regions opposite Kupwara and Baramulla districts, along with the Akhnoor sector in the Jammu district.
