Is the Indian Navy Fully Prepared for Combat?

New Delhi, April 27 (NationPress) In a show of its unwavering readiness to confront any adversities posed by its foes, the Indian Navy successfully executed an anti-ship missile exercise on Sunday. The Navy emphasized its capability to engage in combat at any time, in any location, and through any means to protect the nation's maritime interests.

This missile operation was conducted from the Indian Naval vessels.

Through this anti-ship firing drill, the Navy reaffirmed the efficacy of its platforms, systems, and personnel in executing long-range precision offensive strikes.

The Navy reported multiple successful anti-ship missile launches to illustrate the state of readiness among its personnel.

The Indian Navy remains reliable and prepared to counter any future threats from adversaries.

"Ships of the Indian Navy successfully conducted multiple anti-ship firings to validate and showcase the readiness of platforms, systems, and crew for long-range precision offensive strikes. The Indian Navy stands combat-ready, credible, and future-oriented in safeguarding the nation's maritime interests Anytime Anywhere Anyhow," the Indian Navy stated in a post on its X handle.

On April 22, a tragic incident unfolded when Pakistan-backed terrorists targeted tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 individuals. Among the victims was Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a 26-year-old Naval officer from Haryana's Karnal, who had recently married on April 16 and was on his honeymoon.

In a decisive response to the attack, India conducted a significant missile test within 48 hours, sending a strong message to its adversaries. This test was executed by the Indian Navy aboard its domestically constructed guided missile destroyer, INS Surat, in the Arabian Sea.

The Navy successfully launched a medium-range surface-to-air missile during the operation.

According to the Navy, INS Surat accurately struck its target in the sea.

This destroyer is equipped to intercept enemy missiles mid-air.

The Pakistani establishment is reportedly anxious and unsettled by India's various punitive measures against terrorism, prompting repeated ceasefire violations and attacks from its posts along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

On the night of April 26 to 27, the Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked small arms fire across the Line of Control in the Tutmari Gali and Rampur Sector, officials confirmed.

Indian forces effectively retaliated against the unprovoked aggression with appropriate small arms.

The Indian Army remains vigilant and prepared to respond to any malicious actions from Pakistan, with Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi conducting several pivotal meetings in Jammu and Kashmir to review the Army's strategic responses.

Simultaneously, the Indian Navy has prominently showcased its state of preparedness.
