New Delhi, Oct 27 (NationPress) Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Indian Navy, urged representatives from 30 nations on Monday to collaborate on ideas aimed at creating a safer, stronger, and more prosperous maritime order.

During his video address at the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025, a premier conference focusing on maritime strategy, diplomacy, and cooperation, Admiral Tripathi stated, "The Dialogue has transformed into an important platform for regional nations to unite, exchange viewpoints, and explore new avenues for collaboration under the Indo-Pacific oceans initiative."

This year's Dialogue is conducted under the broader maritime vision of #MAHASAGAR, which serves as a crucial forum for fostering collaboration and building capacity.

The Chief of Naval Staff emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of MAHASAGAR - Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth across Regions - places capacity building at the core of our collective maritime progress.

He further noted that this vision encourages cooperation among like-minded nations to ensure shared security and prosperity.

Admiral Tripathi identified the theme of the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025 - “Promoting Holistic Maritime Security and Growth Through Regional Capacity-Building and Capability-Enhancement” - as both timely and relevant.

This theme underscores India’s unwavering commitment to inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable maritime engagement. He concluded, “Together, let’s build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous maritime order.”

The Dialogue features discussions among global maritime experts and naval leaders focusing on strategies for a more secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific, hosted by the Indian Navy, according to an official statement.

This three-day event, commencing on Monday, addresses critical issues such as Capacity-building, Maritime Security and Strategic Coordination, Blue Economy, Climate Resilience, Disaster Preparedness, Technology, Connectivity, and Future Infrastructure, as indicated by the Indian Navy's spokesperson.

“The Indian Navy, in collaboration with the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) as its Knowledge Partner, hosts the IPRD 2025, marking India’s top international conference on maritime strategy, diplomacy, and cooperation,” stated the spokesperson through a social media update.

He added, “The Indo-Pacific is rapidly evolving. Maritime security challenges, climate change, and disruptions in supply chains are reshaping the region, necessitating innovative ideas, robust partnerships, and strategic insights.”

At the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025, global maritime experts, naval leaders, policymakers, and strategic thinkers will unite to enhance capacity and capabilities for a resilient, secure, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
