A police presence has been reinforced in the impacted regions. Authorities observed attempts to propagate misinformation through social media, leading to the precautionary suspension of Internet services across various localities.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Madan Kumar Anand stated that the situation is currently under control.
“We are conducting flag marches in the affected areas to guarantee public safety. Meetings of peace committees are also being organized to alleviate tensions, and ongoing raids are targeting those who absconded after the incident. To avert any further escalation, police units have been deployed at sensitive sites throughout the district,” Anand remarked.

Investigations are still underway, and the administration has pledged to take strict measures against those accountable for the unrest.
The stone-pelting incident in Jamui transpired following a Hanuman Chalisa Path organized on Sunday evening to oppose alleged religious conversions in the vicinity.
As participants were returning home, another group reportedly initiated stone pelting against them, resulting in injuries to at least 10 people.
During the fracas, Jhajha SHO Nandan Rai was present and endeavored to manage the situation; however, the group engaged in stone pelting outnumbered the victims, leading to further escalation.
Authorities have committed to enforcing stringent measures against those disrupting communal harmony.
