Amaravati, May 7 (NationPress) YSR Congress Party President and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of dragging politics into a new low through his corruption and deceptive promises.

According to Jagan Mohan Reddy, voters are increasingly unwilling to re-elect Naidu.

Speaking to party observers for parliamentary constituencies here on Wednesday, he emphasized that Naidu has brought politics to its nadir with widespread corruption, nepotism, and the land, sand, and liquor mafias, effectively handing over valuable land to a select few.

The former chief minister remarked that citizens are frustrated with Naidu’s mismanagement.

“Having witnessed the injustices of the coalition government, I am determined that our party members will receive the recognition they deserve. Unlike Naidu, I will fulfill my promises. Our members are invigorated, and we see a positive response everywhere we go to expose the coalition’s failures. The public is outraged with Naidu,” he stated.

Jagan Mohan Reddy declared that the YSR Congress Party will conduct its plenary session next year on a grand scale.

He urged leaders to intensify their efforts in their districts and engage with grassroots members. “We are certain of reclaiming power as the coalition has failed in all areas, and the public no longer trusts the government’s lies,” he asserted.

He accused the coalition of failing to meet any commitments and dismantling the welfare programs initiated by the YSRCP government. He noted that public dissatisfaction similar to that after TDP’s first term from 2014 to 2019 is evident.

The former chief minister mentioned that prime land valued in crores is being sold for merely one rupee. The Lulu group has acquired land worth Rs 1500 crore, while another company received Rs 3000 crore worth of land at a minimal price. “We procured electricity at Rs 2.49 per unit to offer free power to farmers but Naidu is purchasing it at Rs 4.60 per unit, imposing a burden on the public,” he explained.

Jagan Mohan Reddy indicated that at the constituency level, MLAs are demanding their share for any necessary work, and the Red Book Constitution is being enforced in the state. He encouraged party members not to fear legal cases, as the public is ready to seize the right moment to hold the coalition accountable.
