Jaipur, Oct 6 (NationPress) Following the devastating fire at the Trauma Centre of Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Hospital, the Rajasthan government has taken prompt and decisive measures. The Superintendent of SMS Hospital, Dr. Sushil Bhati, along with Trauma Centre In-charge Dr. Anurag Dhakad, have been dismissed from their roles. Executive Engineer Mukesh Singhal has also been suspended without delay.
Moreover, the state government has annulled the tender of SK Electric Company, the agency in charge of fire safety, and mandated that an FIR be filed against the firm.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma arrived at SMS Hospital at 3 a.m. after the fire to evaluate the situation personally.

“This report will be received soon, and security systems in major hospitals across the state will be reinforced based on its recommendations,” he stated.
During the visit, Medical Education Secretary Ambrish Kumar, Medical Education Commissioner Iqbal Khan, Principal of SMS Medical College Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, and other senior officials were present.
