Jaipur, Oct 6 (NationPress) Following the catastrophic fire incident at the Trauma Centre of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur, which tragically resulted in the loss of six lives and left numerous others injured, political leaders have voiced their profound sorrow and sent condolences to the bereaved families. Union Home Minister Amit Shah labeled the occurrence as "tragic" and committed to ensuring that the local authorities are taking all necessary measures to safeguard and care for the patients.
"The fire incident at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur is indeed tragic. The local administration is diligently working to ensure the safety, treatment, and care of those affected. My heartfelt condolences go to the families who have lost their loved ones. I am praying for a quick recovery for the injured," Shah expressed.
Governor Haribhau Bagde conveyed his deep sorrow regarding the event, offering prayers for the deceased and strength to their families. "I pray to God to grant eternal peace to the souls of the departed, comfort to their families in this difficult time, and a swift recovery to the injured," the Governor stated.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa promptly visited SMS Hospital following the incident.
"The fire at the Trauma Centre is heartbreaking. I arrived at the scene alongside the Chief Minister to evaluate the situation and support those affected," Bairwa remarked after meeting with patients. He also expressed condolences to the grieving families.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, deeply affected by the incident, canceled her engagements in Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh to focus on this tragedy. "The news of lost lives is profoundly painful. I pray for peace for the departed souls and a rapid recovery for the injured," she stated.
