Srinagar, June 14 (NationPress) The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, paid a visit on Saturday to the grieving family of Syed Aadil Hussain, a victim of the Pahalgam terror attack, who lost his life alongside 25 tourists in the Baisaran meadow.
During his visit to Hapathnard village in Anantnag district, the Lt Governor extended his condolences and assured the family of the government's unwavering support.
He emphasized that as soon as Aadil was killed, the government pledged to assist the family, given that Aadil was the sole provider for them.
In a gesture of support, Manoj Sinha presented a government job letter to Aadil’s wife, Gulnar Akhtar.
It is noteworthy that the J&K Waqf Board has already secured a job for Aadil’s brother.
On April 22, Aadil was tragically killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) while heroically attempting to protect the tourists from gunfire.
This heinous attack sparked outrage across the nation, prompting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant the armed forces a free hand to respond to the Pahalgam terror attack.
In retaliation, Indian armed forces executed targeted strikes on terror infrastructure in Muredki, located near Lahore, as well as Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

He reiterated the commitment of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board and the Jammu and Kashmir Administration to ensure the welfare of all stakeholders involved in the revered pilgrimage.
