Jaunpur, June 24 (NationPress) The remarkable journey of Govind Modanwal, a resident of the Thana Kotwali area, serves as a beacon of hope for anyone in the state aspiring to realize their dreams.
Despite encountering multiple setbacks in both employment and entrepreneurship, Govind persisted, demonstrating remarkable resilience.
The Central government's PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) initiative provided him with a transformative opportunity. With its support, he established a bakery business and achieved financial independence. Currently, he employs four individuals.
Govind recounts that he previously attempted to break into the bakery sector, but faced failure. This experience only fortified his resolve.
“We learned about the PMFME scheme through the Horticulture Department. After applying for a loan, we received Rs 7.53 lakh, which included a 35% government subsidy,” he shared.
He added that this financial assistance propelled their bakery venture to impressive heights. Their earnings have surged from Rs 10,000-12,000 monthly to an impressive Rs 60,000-70,000.
“This scheme has not only enhanced our financial standing but also significantly uplifted our confidence. We are now looking to expand our operations to create more job opportunities,” he stated.
Praising the PMFME initiative, Govind remarked, "The PMFME has been a true blessing for small business owners. My gratitude goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this support. I urge other youngsters to leverage such government initiatives and strive for self-reliance."
It’s important to note that the PMFME scheme offers financial backing, training, and technical assistance to micro food processing entrepreneurs, aiming to empower small businesses in both rural and urban settings while fostering job creation.
