New Delhi, Jan 7 (NationPress) In a significant accomplishment, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has successfully repatriated a crucial figure from the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang back to India from the United States.
The fugitive, known as Aman, also referred to as Aman Kumar or Aman Bhainswal, was deported from the USA and arrived in India on Wednesday, January 7, as per an official announcement from the CBI.
Upon his arrival at the Delhi airport, a team from the Haryana Police swiftly took him into custody.
Aman is recognized as a dangerous criminal and a significant player within the Lawrence Bishnoi organized crime syndicate. He is currently wanted by the Haryana Police for various serious offenses, including murder, rioting, and criminal conspiracy.
The CBI reported that Aman was previously apprehended in India concerning these charges but was later granted bail. Unfortunately, he absconded prior to his trial. The Haryana Police then sought the CBI's assistance in apprehending him internationally.
Responding to this request, the CBI, acting as India's National Central Bureau (NCB) for INTERPOL, successfully secured a Red Notice against Aman via Interpol.
Thanks to international collaboration and intelligence inputs, he was ultimately located in the United States, which led to his deportation.
