New Delhi, May 27 (NationPress) Union Minister Kiren Rijiju recently commended AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi for his efforts in revealing and discrediting Pakistan's blatant attempts to disseminate false propaganda following Operation Sindoor. Owaisi, who is part of the all-party delegation in Kuwait, made a pointed remark about the Pakistani establishment, stating, ‘it takes brains to copy things properly.’
In response to Owaisi’s criticism of Pakistan, Kiren Rijiju shared a clip of his speech and remarked in Hindi, “Pakistan ki toh poll hi khol di (You exposed Pakistan to the core).”
Rijiju’s acknowledgment came after Owaisi debunked a photograph presented by the Pakistani Army chief, which was falsely claimed to symbolize their victory over India. The image was actually from a 2019 military drill conducted by China, misrepresented as a recent action by the Pakistan Army.
Owaisi did not hold back, labeling Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army chief Asim Munir as ‘stupid jokers’, pointing out how the top leadership of Pakistan was ‘hiding’ behind a fabricated memento as a way to save face.
The memento in question was given to Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif during a prestigious event attended by notable figures including Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Deputy PM Ishaq Dar.
“Yesterday, the Pakistan Army chief presented the photo to the PM in the presence of the President and the National Assembly Speaker. These stupid jokers want to compete with India. They had provided a 2019 photograph of a Chinese Army drill, claiming it was a victory over India. This is what Pakistan indulges in; they can’t even provide a proper photograph,” Owaisi declared at the gathering.
Currently in Kuwait as part of India's diplomatic mission addressing the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, Owaisi further ridiculed the Pakistani leadership for their imitation tactics, saying they lack the intelligence even to copy properly.
“In our childhood, we heard that ‘nakal karne ke liye akal chahiye’ (copying requires brains). In nalayakon ke pass toh akal bhi nahi hai (These worthless individuals don't even have brains),” he remarked.
This incident is not the first time Pakistan has resorted to misinformation to gain an ‘advantage’ in the propaganda war. Another recent example involved Pakistan Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, who embarrassed himself by using a fake image from a UK publication to laud the Pakistani Air Force, only to be ridiculed by his own media.
