During his address, he recounted his recent trip to Ajmer, underscoring the swift development taking place in the state.

"Just last week, from the revered land of Ajmer, we inaugurated and laid the foundations for development initiatives worth thousands of crores of rupees. We also distributed appointment letters to over 21,000 youths from Rajasthan," he remarked.

"The initiation of yet another significant development project within a week underscores the velocity of progress in Rajasthan today," Prime Minister Modi stated.

He acknowledged the ongoing momentum of development activities across various sectors in Rajasthan.

"Whether in infrastructure, job opportunities for the youth, or schemes for farmers and women, work is advancing rapidly throughout Rajasthan," he reiterated.

The new airport, estimated to cost around Rs 1,500 crore, is set to benefit Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, and the broader Hadoti region.

Congratulating the locals, he mentioned, "This modern airport will significantly enhance the development of the entire region in the years to come. I extend my warmest congratulations to the people of Kota and Hadoti on the commencement of this vital airport project."

Reflecting on his visit to Kota in November 2023, he affirmed that he had assured the establishment of the airport.

"I assured that the airport would transition from a mere aspiration to a reality. Today, I am pleased to announce the commencement of Kota Airport's construction," he asserted.

He noted the inconvenience locals faced previously, having to travel to cities like Jaipur or Jodhpur for flights.

"Once operational, this airport will simplify travel and spur rapid growth in Kota and its surrounding areas," he added.

Highlighting Kota's advantages, Prime Minister Modi characterized it as an educational hub and a significant center for energy production.

He pointed out that electricity in the region is generated through various sources, including nuclear, coal, gas, and hydropower.

Additionally, he mentioned the global recognition of local specialties such as Kota kachori, Kota Doria sarees, Kota stone and sandstone, along with agricultural products like coriander and Bundi's basmati rice.

The Prime Minister also noted the region's tourist and spiritual importance, referencing sites such as Shree Mathuradheesh Ji Peeth, Keshav Rai Patan, Khade Ganesh Ji Maharaj, and Godavari Balaji Dham.

He remarked that improved air connectivity would attract more tourists and pilgrims to the region.

Moreover, he acknowledged that wildlife destinations like Mukundra Hills and Ramgarh Vishdhari sanctuaries are becoming prominent wildlife tourism hubs and will benefit from better connectivity.

Stressing infrastructure development, he pointed out the modernization of railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and enhanced road connectivity via the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.

"With improved road and rail connectivity, new industries are being established here. After railways and roads, this new chapter of air connectivity will further propel Kota's growth," he expressed.

Prime Minister Modi commended the consistent efforts of Kota's Member of Parliament and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in driving development initiatives in the area.

"Om Birla Ji is not merely an exemplary Member of Parliament but also an outstanding Speaker of the Lok Sabha. He is wholly committed to the Constitution and deeply values Parliamentary customs. Today, he transcends party lines, exemplifying neutrality," he commented.

"Observing him (Om Birla) in the House often makes me feel that his origin from an educational city has shaped his role as the Lok Sabha Speaker -- he leads like a caring family head, uniting everyone. He honors the sentiments and requests of all MPs, showing utmost respect," he added.

He also noted that despite occasional disruptions, the Lok Sabha Speaker handles the House with grace.

"Even when some arrogant and disruptive individuals occasionally cause uproar, he (Om Birla) manages everything with dignity -- never resorting to insults, patiently enduring harsh remarks, and always maintaining a warm smile. This may be a reason for his universal admiration in the House," the Prime Minister remarked.

Highlighting India's expanding aviation network, Prime Minister Modi noted that prior to 2014, the nation had around 70 airports, whereas now the count has surpassed 160.

"These new airports have simplified air travel, boosted tourism, created job opportunities for the youth, and accelerated regional development," he stated.

He also mentioned the establishment of new airports around the National Capital Region (NCR), including Hisar in Haryana, Hindon and Jewar in Uttar Pradesh.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister stressed the significance of collaboration between the Central and state governments in enhancing development.
