New Delhi, Aug 18 (NationPress) A newly released book titled “Tan Samarpit, Man Samarpit” — which details the life and ideological journey of the late RSS worker Ramesh Prakash — was officially unveiled at a gathering featuring RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, senior Sangh leader Indresh Kumar, and Suruchi Prakashan Chairman Rajiv Tuli.
In an interview with IANS, Indresh Kumar characterized the book as a motivating narrative of a “humble yet profoundly devoted swayamsevak” whose existence reflects the fundamental tenets of the Sangh.
“This book narrates the story of a committed grassroots worker who led a life dedicated to service, discipline, and unyielding ideological conviction. It illustrates how the RSS, through its teachings and practices, cultivates individuals into responsible citizens who nurture families, assist communities, and contribute positively to society,” he stated.
Kumar encouraged the RSS's critics to approach the book with an open heart: “Especially those who question and malign the Sangh should read this book. It provides invaluable insights into the organization’s ethos, and the wisdom it conveys is beneficial for a lifetime.”
Rajiv Tuli, the Chairman of Suruchi Prakashan, highlighted that the RSS has sustained its mission for nearly a century due to the unwavering dedication of such workers who have not only devoted their lives but have also inspired their families to serve the nation.
“The Sangh remains resilient today because of karyakartas like Ramesh Prakash, who devoted their entire lives to the cause. This book encapsulates his life experiences — the individuals he encountered, the journeys he embarked on within the organization, and the ideological training he received,” Tuli remarked.
He added that the book is especially significant for the younger generation eager to serve society: “It provides practical inspiration for those wishing to embark on their own social service journey and understand how to do so meaningfully. Even Muslim youth should engage with this book to witness how national unity and service break down all barriers.”
