Amaravati, April 20 (NationPress) Two young men tragically lost their lives while engaged in a game of cricket when they were struck by lightning in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.
Another youth was left with severe injuries as a result of the incident, which took place in Pedda Obineni Palle within the Bestawaripeta mandal.
The victims were identified as Akash (18) and Sunny (17). The injured youth has been taken to a local hospital for treatment. Following the occurrence, the village was enveloped in sadness.
In a separate unfortunate event near Hyderabad, a young man succumbed to cardiac arrest while playing cricket. This incident unfolded under the jurisdiction of Keesara Police Station in the Medchal Malkajgiri district.
M. Praneeth (32) collapsed during a cricket match with friends on a local field in Rampalli Daira. His friends quickly transported him to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
