New Delhi, Oct 11 (NationPress) India is set to host the United Nations Troop Contributing Countries (UNTCC) Chiefs’ conclave from October 14 to 16 in New Delhi. This significant event will unite over 30 Military Chiefs from various nations to discuss the evolving challenges of peacekeeping, share best practices, and enhance future readiness.
In a video message, Tariel Otonbaev, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am eagerly anticipating my visit to the Republic of India to partake in the conclave of the United Nations Troop Contributing Countries.”
He emphasized, “Since 1997, the Kyrgyz Republic has proudly contributed to the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations. We consider this conclave as a crucial platform for bolstering cooperation among nations, promoting global peace and security, and advancing the mandates of the United Nations.”
Otonbaev hopes that the discussions at the conclave will yield fruitful outcomes for the support of UN Peacekeeping Missions.
Prominently, at the UNTCC Chiefs conclave in New Delhi, military leaders and representatives from countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, France, Italy, Algeria, Armenia, Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Cote D’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Uruguay, Vietnam, Rwanda, and Senegal will be in attendance, alongside India.
