Prayagraj, Feb 7 (NationPress) Thousands of organizations and numerous saints from all corners of the nation have established camps, eager to engage in the sacred ceremonies of this month-long celebration. While the majority of these temporary setups will be dismantled following the Maha Kumbh, one camp will persist -- unchanging and resolute -- throughout the entire year.
This camp belongs to the esteemed saint, Mahayogi Devraha Baba, whose spiritual influence continues to attract thousands of devotees year-round. The camp, established during the Maha Kumbh, will remain in place even after the concluding bathing festival of Maha Shivratri on February 26. Devotees visit this holy site, seeking blessings from the structure itself, which embodies Baba's divine grace and protection.
One of the most extraordinary sights at the Maha Kumbh is the Akhand Jyoti, which has been continuously burning for years at the Taposthali (meditation site) of Pujya Brahma Shri Samrat Devraha Baba. Despite harsh cold, torrential downpours, and scorching heat, the flame has never been extinguished. Daily, thousands of pilgrims come to honor this eternal flame, symbolizing steadfast faith and devotion.
In a conversation with IANS, Swami Ramdas Ji Maharaj elaborated on the significance of this Akhand Jyoti, stating: "This flame has been burning for the last 18 years, in memory of Brahm Shiv Singh Rashtriya Devraha Baba Ji Maharaj. It was ignited with a purpose, and even in the most challenging conditions, it continues to shine brightly."
He further clarified that the flame was initially lit by Maharaj Badri Raja Uday Pratap Singh Ji, as a representation of the lasting legacy of Brahm Shri Samrat Shri Devraha Baba Maharaj.
The enduring presence of this sacred camp and the Akhand Jyoti at the Maha Kumbh serves as a profound reminder of the divine teachings and eternal faith that will persist in guiding the devotees, long after the festival has concluded.
