New Delhi, Oct 22 (NationPress) As the electoral fervor intensifies in Bihar, fierce political exchanges have erupted between the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan. Leaders from the ruling coalition have launched pointed criticisms of the opposition's internal discord, labeling it as “disorganized” and “troubled by infighting” regarding seat allocation.

BJP Bihar State President Dilip Kumar Jaiswal directed his ire at the opposition coalition, asserting that their disarray has unveiled their “true face” to the public.

“The manner in which the Mahagathbandhan has navigated the candidate selection and seat distribution has laid bare its true identity to the people of Bihar. The Mahagathbandhan has now devolved into the ‘Maha-Lathbandhan’, a group of stick-wielders and chaos creators,” Jaiswal remarked, mocking the opposition's supposed internal conflicts.

Joining in on the criticism, JDU national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad asserted that the NDA is on a path to a “one-sided, decisive victory.”

“The opposition is in complete disarray. They are at odds with each other over seat allocations. Within the Mahagathbandhan, there are ongoing intense disputes regarding at least 12 seats,” Prasad elaborated.

He further emphasized the coalition's lack of unity and leadership, stating, “They haven’t even determined who their leader will be; there’s a void in communication between Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav. So far, the primary leaders of both parties haven’t even emerged to campaign.”

Highlighting the NDA’s campaign momentum, Prasad added, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has conducted numerous public rallies. Several NDA Chief Ministers have visited Bihar for nomination rallies. The Home Minister has also made an appearance, and Union Minister Amit Shah has planned several upcoming events here.”

“Undoubtedly, whether it’s Chirag Paswan, Upendra Kushwaha, or Jitan Ram Manjhi, all NDA leaders are campaigning in seamless coordination. Meanwhile, the opposition has crumbled even before the elections have commenced,” he remarked.

Supporting the NDA's narrative, Minister Ashok Chaudhary emphasized that the Mahagathbandhan has “entirely failed to function.”

“The alliance has disintegrated completely. There has been no cooperative press conference, and each party is fielding its candidates, even in each other’s constituencies,” he asserted.

As the elections approach, the NDA is eager to portray an image of unity and strength, while depicting the opposition as fragmented and ill-prepared.

Polling in Bihar is set for two phases on November 6 and November 11, 2025, with results expected on November 14, 2025.
