Minister Singh elaborated on the government’s strategic plan, noting that responsibilities have been assigned to various state ministers to encourage participation from both India and around the world.
He mentioned, "Our delegation has visited Arunachal Pradesh to motivate involvement. Recently, we hosted an important event at the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi, which saw attendance from over 50 diplomats and representatives from various nations, including the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture. Through these connections, we have extended invitations to individuals globally to partake in this extraordinary spiritual and cultural festival.
The Mahakumbh is regarded as the world’s largest spiritual and cultural congregation.
The Maha Kumbh Mela of 2025 is scheduled to take place in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26. It represents the world’s largest public assembly and collective act of faith, drawing ascetics, saints, seers, and pilgrims from every background.
The Kumbh Mela, in the context of Hinduism, is a religious pilgrimage celebrated four times over a span of 12 years.
