Mumbai, April 6 (NationPress) The president of the Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ravindra Chavan, declared on Monday that the party is set to initiate statewide programs aimed at promoting its nationalist values among the general populace.
Chavan mentioned that in the upcoming week, the BJP intends to enhance its booth-level outreach and communicate the accomplishments of both the central and state governments to every household across Maharashtra. His remarks were made during a flag-hoisting ceremony at the BJP state headquarters, commemorating the party's foundation day.
During his speech, Chavan highlighted that party members would take this pivotal moment to engage with the community. “In the next seven days, several initiatives will be executed at the Mandal level. This occasion is a tribute to the sacrifices and commitment of numerous workers who have contributed to the growth of this party. I feel privileged to lead an organization grounded in such robust principles,” he stated.
He reiterated the party's dedication to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'Developed India' (Viksit Bharat). He pointed out that the state unit is operating with full vigor under the leadership of National President Nitin Nabin and the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Keshav Upadhye, the State Vice President and coordinator for the Foundation Day activities, remarked that the aspirations articulated by Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the party's inception are now being realized. He noted that the celebrations throughout Maharashtra would be observed as a 'festival of unwavering nationalism.'
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis extended his warm greetings to all party workers on the BJP Foundation Day, acknowledging their hard work for the nation. He stated, “Their service, discipline, and commitment form the true foundation of this movement.”
Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule expressed on X, “Nation First, Then Party, and Finally Self. Heartfelt greetings to all workers on the Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party! Celebrating 46 years of dedication. Happy Foundation Day to the BJP!”
The newly elected Rajya Sabha member and national general secretary, Vinod Tawde, emphasized, “After 47 years of serving the nation, I extend my warmest wishes on the BJP Foundation Day to 1.4 billion citizens and every BJP worker.”
