Mumbai, February 22 (NationPress) Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, announced on Sunday that the upcoming state Budget will prioritize assistance for the everyday citizen while adhering to fiscal responsibility. He noted that the groundwork laid by the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will be evident in this financial blueprint.
During a press briefing preceding the state's Budget Session, Fadnavis revealed that the Budget for 2026-27 is set to be unveiled on March 6 and will focus on crucial aspects of welfare and economic steadiness.
“The Budget is scheduled for presentation on March 6. The late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had meticulously prepared for it with the aim of showcasing a thorough financial strategy. We are committed to ensuring that the Budget alleviates the burdens of the citizens while upholding economic discipline,” Fadnavis stated.
