In response to a debate regarding an opposition motion in the state council, Deputy CM Shinde stated: "Our government is a progressive administration. Maharashtra is now firmly on the Constitutional path, and it will not halt at this juncture."

"Maharashtra is ascending towards the pinnacle of success. Let us unite to advance Maharashtra with shared dedication and a single vote," he expressed.

"Maharashtra leads in GDP, exports, industrial output, GST collection, startups, and attracting Foreign Direct Investment. It has also achieved the top rank in cleanliness. The highest number of infrastructure initiatives, valued at Rs 10 lakh crore, are currently in progress in Maharashtra," he noted.

He further remarked, "With the second-largest population in the nation, Maharashtra stands as the wealthiest state. Its debt-to-GDP ratio is merely 18 percent, the lowest across the country."

Deputy CM Shinde emphasized the necessity for enhanced connectivity through metro systems, internal metros, pod taxis, airways, roadways, railways, and waterways, adding that a comprehensive tourism development strategy is underway.

"We will effectively roll out initiatives such as the Agri-tourism policy, Adventure tourism policy, Caravan policy, and Beach Shack policy. Wellness centers will be established in the state to offer amenities to tourists at the forts, and a significant tourism festival is scheduled to take place in Mahabaleshwar in May," he stated.

"The government recently convened a war room meeting to evaluate 19 ambitious projects across metro, railway, highways, airports, ports, irrigation, water supply, sanitation, and tourism sectors. The acceleration of the Wainganga-Nalganga river linking project for irrigation in Vidarbha and Marathwada is also underway. Each department outlined their objectives for the next five years during the initial hundred days," the Deputy Chief Minister added.

On the topic of law and order in the state, he commented, "The government's responsibility is to ensure that none of our sisters in the state endure injustices; they should be able to navigate society without fear. The police have been instructed to uphold a zero tolerance policy regarding incidents of violence against women. We will guarantee the safety of my dear sisters. Thanks to the government's initiatives in recent years, the conviction rate is climbing annually. In 2015, it was 33 percent, while in 2024, this figure has risen to 50.5 percent. It is projected to reach 75 percent thereafter."
