Mumbai, March 6 (NationPress) On Thursday, the Maharashtra government executed a transfer of eight bureaucrats. Among those reassigned is Radhabinod Aribam Sharma, an IAS officer from the 2012 batch, who formerly served as Joint Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA and has now been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Meera-Bhayander Municipal Corporation.
The government has also designated MJ Pradip Chandren, another IAS of the 2012 batch, originally the Additional Development Commissioner (Industries) at the Directorate of Industries, to serve as Additional Municipal Commissioner for Pune Municipal Corporation.
Furthermore, Babahaseb Beldar, an IAS officer from the 2015 batch, who previously held the position of Additional Divisional Commissioner for the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division, has been assigned as Commissioner of Minority Development.
Additionally, Jagdish Miniyar, an IAS of the same batch and Chief Executive Officer of the Smart City in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, will now take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Zila Parishad, Jalna.
Another transfer includes Gopichand Kadam, also an IAS of the 2015 batch, who was the Chief Executive Officer of the Smart City in Solapur and has been reassigned as Additional Tribal Commissioner in Thane.
Moreover, Vaidehi Ranade, an IAS of the 2015 batch and Joint Managing Director of MSRDC, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad, Ratnagiri.
A further reassignment includes Arjun Chikhale, an IAS from the 2015 batch, who served as Member Secretary for the Vidharbha Statutory Development Board and is now the Secretary of the Fee Regulatory Authority in Mumbai.
Lastly, Dr Pankaj Ashiya, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch who was the Collector in Yavatmal, has now been appointed as Collector in Ahilyanagar.
