Mumbai, Feb 18 (NationPress) The Maharashtra government has executed transfers for nine bureaucrats on Tuesday, with notable changes including the State Excise Commissioner Dr Vijay Suryavanshi.

Suryavanshi, an IAS officer from the 2006 batch, has exchanged roles with Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, the Konkan Divisional Commissioner, who belongs to the 2008 batch.

Nayana Gunde, the Tribal Development Commissioner currently stationed at Nashik, also a 2008 batch IAS officer, will now serve as the Commissioner for Women and Children in Pune. Vimala R., another IAS officer from the 2008 batch and currently the State Project Director of Samgra Siksha Abhiyan in Mumbai, has been appointed as the Resident Commissioner and Secretary at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi.

The government has designated Siddharam Salimath, an IAS officer from the 2011 batch and the current District Collector of Ahilyanagar, as the Sugar Commissioner in Pune. Milindkumar Salwe, an IAS officer from the 2013 batch, will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad in Bhandara.

Dr Sachin Ombase, an IAS officer from the 2015 batch serving as the District Collector of Dharashiv, has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner for the Solapur Municipal Corporation.

Leena Bansod, currently the Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Co-operative Tribal Development Corporation in Nashik, is now the Commissioner for Tribal Development in Nashik.

Rahul Kumar Meena, an IAS officer from the 2021 batch who has been the Project Officer for ITDP in Gadchiroli and the Assistant Collector for the Gadchiroli Sub Division, will now serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Latur Zilla Parishad.
