New Delhi, Sep 18 (NationPress) The renowned billionaire investor Mark Mobius extended heartfelt wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he celebrated his 75th birthday on Thursday. The festivities marking PM Modi's milestone were observed with great enthusiasm nationwide.
Mobius acknowledged PM Modi's pivotal role in fostering substantial economic growth and facilitating the digital transformation of India's economy.
"It brings me immense joy to congratulate Prime Minister Modi on his 75th birthday. He has been an incredible asset to the Indian economy, spearheading impressive economic growth, a thriving stock market, and the digitalisation of our economy," remarked the 89-year-old investment mogul to IANS.
“Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for your contributions to our nation. Wishing you a very happy birthday," he concluded.
Previously, Mobius, who manages the Mobius EM Opportunities Fund for emerging markets, attributed India's ascent to one of the top four largest economies to PM Modi’s strong policies and visionary outlook.
“I am not at all surprised that India is climbing the ranks among the world’s largest economies. With a population of 1.4 billion, under the visionary guidance of Prime Minister Modi, India is poised to reclaim its rightful place on the global stage,” Mobius stated.
Mobius further remarked to IANS that India holds the potential to emerge as the second-largest economy globally.
Meanwhile, PM Modi's 75th birthday was marked by nationwide celebrations alongside the launch of various health, welfare, and development initiatives.
This occasion transformed into a collective national celebration, characterized by a flood of greetings and accolades from political and industry leaders worldwide.
On the day of his birthday, PM Modi visited Bhainsola village in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, where he laid the foundation stone for India’s inaugural PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park, a significant advancement for the textile sector in the state.
During his visit, the Prime Minister also initiated two major national programs, 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar' (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month), aimed at enhancing the nation’s health and nutrition services, especially for women, children, and adolescents.
