Gwalior, June 28 (NationPress) A Hindu saint was reportedly assaulted and robbed by a group of unknown individuals at an Ashram in Gwalior district, with the culprits still unapprehended as of Saturday, according to police reports.
The incident took place at Van Kahndeshwari Ashram, situated along the Shivpuri link road (Agra-Mumbai Highway), where Saint Shivananji Maharaj was attacked by three individuals between 9:30 and 10 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Saint Shivananji Maharaj recounted that the three individuals entered the Ashram, claiming they were searching for their buffaloes. They even inquired with the saint whether he had seen their buffaloes before leaving the Ashram.
