Bhopal, Jan 2 (NationPress) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat is set to embark on a two-day trip to Bhopal starting Friday, where he will engage in events at two significant locations: Kushabhau Thakare Convention Centre and Ravindra Bhavan.
This visit is part of the RSS's centennial celebrations, during which Bhagwat will address a diverse audience including social and religious leaders, youth, and women across various sessions scheduled for January 2 and 3.
On Friday, he will participate in 'Yuva Samvad' (youth interaction) and 'Pramukhjan Goshthi' (interaction with distinguished citizens), followed on Saturday by a 'Samajik Sadbhav Baithak' (social harmony gathering) and a 'Shakti Samvad' (women's interaction).
A senior RSS official in Bhopal revealed that the event will also see participation from young achievers across all 31 districts of the prants (16 districts based on the administrative layout), recognized for their contributions in various sectors.
The interaction with notable citizens is scheduled to take place at an auditorium within Ravindra Bhavan, inviting esteemed figures from various fields within the Bhopal division.
On Saturday, Bhagwat will also lead a 'Samajik Sadbhav Baithak' at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre, aimed at fostering dialogue among prominent members from different communities.
This marks Bhagwat's fifth visit to Madhya Pradesh in the last 10 months, as per a recent announcement from the RSS office.
In a recent address, Bhagwat urged citizens to transcend divisions of caste, wealth, and language, advocating for unity and recognizing everyone as part of a shared community.
His remarks carry weight, especially in light of rising tensions following the recent incident involving the death of Angel Chakma, a student from Tripura, in Dehradun amid allegations of racial abuse.
Bhagwat emphasized the importance of social cohesion and equality, asserting that the entire nation belongs to all, and harmony is vital to India's essence.
