Bhopal/Dehradun, Feb 5 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, stated on Thursday that Adi Shankaracharya played a crucial role in enhancing the Sanatan culture, forging a deep connection with the state of Madhya Pradesh.
During his address at the 'Sant Sammelan' held in conjunction with the 'Pratima Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Gurudev Samadhi Mandir, organized by the Samanvay Seva Trust in Haridwar, Chief Minister Yadav highlighted this significant relationship.
He emphasized that the continuous flow of the Sanatan tradition is being fostered through collaboration between the saints and the state government.
On this occasion, he also invited the saints to participate in the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, a major Hindu gathering that occurs every twelve years in the historic city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
Alongside Chief Minister Yadav, notable figures such as Manoj Sinha, Arif Mohammad Khan, Pushkar Singh Dhami, and other distinguished leaders attended the religious event.
“Today in Haridwar, I took part in the Idol Installation Ceremony of Anantashri Vibhushit Param Gurudev Swami Satyamitranand Giri Ji Maharaj. I extended my invitation to all saints and sages to visit Ujjain for Simhastha-2028,” expressed CM Yadav.
During his visit to Haridwar, CM Yadav also toured Patanjali Yogpeeth and practiced yoga with the renowned Yoga guru Swami Ramdev.
He noted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has transitioned from a traditional Indian practice to a global phenomenon.
He encouraged everyone to integrate yoga into their daily lives to achieve a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
Impressed by the tranquil ambiance of Patanjali Yogpeeth, CM Yadav remarked that its spiritually enriching environment fosters profound inner peace.
He also engaged in prayers, performed rituals, and participated in a yajna at the Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar, seeking the welfare of all.
