Bhopal, March 20 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, stated on Thursday that sages and saints are the core of Sanatan Dharma, which has consistently flourished under their guidance.

This declaration was made during a religious gathering at the Til Bhadeshwar Mahadev temple in Ujjain.

The event celebrated the appointment of Mohan Bharti Maharaj as the Mahant of the Shri Dashnam Juna Akhara situated in Tarana town, within the Ujjain district.

In his address, CM Yadav highlighted the necessity of comprehending the lives and experiences of sages and saints to genuinely understand the essence of Sanatan Dharma.

Additionally, CM Yadav announced the development of Tilbhadeshwar temple as a religious heritage site.

He mentioned that the state government has allocated a special budget to enhance religious places into pilgrimage sites throughout the state.

Hailing from Ujjain, the Chief Minister noted that the state government is dedicated to establishing Lord Mahakal's city as a religious and cultural hub.

CM Yadav also revealed that preparations for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in 2028 have commenced.

He stated that separate ghats are being constructed for all 13 Akharas of Naga Sadhus.

During his visit, CM Yadav prayed at the ancient Mahadev temple and honored the saints and sages present, touching their feet and receiving their blessings.

He paid floral tributes and offered a sacred cloth at the Samadhi of Brahmaleen Mahant Shri Prakashanand Ji Bharati.

Moreover, he participated in the Shri Maharudra Sahasra Chandi Mahayajna, offering 'Ahuti' (sacred offerings) and praying for the state’s continued prosperity.
