New Delhi, Aug 31 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed her gratitude to the citizens for their support following an attack she endured during a public hearing, asserting that their encouragement has made her "more resolute and determined" to fulfill her duties.
While addressing a Ramlila event in Pitampura, CM Gupta remarked, "The life of Lord Shri Ram teaches us that regardless of the challenges we face, maintaining perseverance, bravery, and integrity while moving forward is the ultimate goal of life."
She noted that the impact of the attack was brief, but the love and blessings from the public have strengthened her resolve. She reminisced about the incident from August 20 in a post on X.
Additionally, she highlighted her experiences at various Ramlila events on Sunday.
"I participated in the land worship ceremony conducted by the Shri Ram-Lakhan Religious Assembly in Pitampura... Ramlila committees are doing a priceless service in preserving our culture and traditions and transmitting them to future generations," she stated.
CM Gupta also shared on X, "I had the honor of joining the Bhoomi Pujan event organized by the Shri Dharmik Leela Committee."
"It was a privilege to take part in the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the Lav-Kush Ramleela Committee, contributing to this sacred mission of spreading the teachings of Lord Shri Ram," she added.
Earlier that day, CM Gupta tweeted, "During the Dashalakshana Mahaparva of the Jain community, we received the blessings of the esteemed Gurudev. This auspicious festival motivates us to progress towards public welfare."
She also conveyed Onam wishes to the citizens, stating, "Today, the vibrant joy of Onam filled the Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Sadan. Delhi has always been a melting pot of cultures and traditions, with every festival celebrated with affection and happiness. With over 10 lakh Malayali brothers and sisters calling Delhi home, the city stands united as one family, moving together towards a brighter and stronger future."
