This motion aims to address the pressing issue of the reported harassment of Bengali-speaking migrant workers across various BJP-led states in India.
However, the Assembly was adjourned for the day following the motion's introduction and acceptance. The discussions regarding the motion are slated for Tuesday and Thursday, after which the Special Session will come to a close. Notably, the House will remain adjourned on Wednesday due to a holiday declared by the West Bengal government in observance of 'Karam Puja'.
