The six-member committee, operating under the guidance of Cooperative Commissioner and Registrar Manoj Pushp, is tasked with conducting an in-depth analysis of the guidelines provided by the Centre and will deliver its recommendations at a higher level.
Included in the committee are Managing Director of Apex Bank Manoj Gupta, Principal of Apex Bank Training College P.S. Tiwari, and Joint Commissioners K.K. Dwivedi and H.S. Baghela.
This initiative follows a recent state-level cooperative conference led by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Bhopal last week, where essential directives were given to the state government.
Minister Sarang stated, "In accordance with the instructions from Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah during the state-level cooperative conference, a committee has been established to conduct a thorough study and prepare recommendations," after a review meeting with the state Cooperation department on Thursday.
He directed officials to ensure that the roadmap is developed strictly in line with the Central government's guidelines.
Furthermore, Minister Sarang revealed that the State Cooperation department plans to host a workshop on the Cooperative Public-Private Partnership (CPPP) model.
Officials have been instructed to prepare for this workshop, which is set to take place on June 20, he added.
"During this workshop, cooperative officers from all over the country will gain insights into the CPPP model." Minister Sarang informed media representatives.
In the meeting, the Minister also engaged in extensive discussions regarding strategies to boost investments in the cooperative sector through the CPPP model.
He emphasized that the state aims to bolster cooperative institutions while fostering private sector involvement under this model.
"This initiative is anticipated to stimulate economic growth and generate new employment opportunities as well," he remarked.
Currently, the state houses 10,000 primary milk cooperative societies, which are projected to rise to 26,000 in the coming years.
District officials have been tasked with actively working towards this increase and ensuring its completion within a specified timeframe.
