Bhopal, Feb 11 (NationPress) The government of Madhya Pradesh announced on Tuesday that the National Education Policy 2020 is being successfully implemented by the School Education Department within the state.

An official mentioned that a state-level task force committee has been formed under the leadership of School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh.

In addition, chapter-wise committees at the state level have been established for the New Education Policy.

"Officials, principals, and teachers have undergone online orientation training focused on the New Education Policy (NEP), with ongoing reviews of the implementation process," stated a government representative.

He added that provisions have been made on the education portal to ensure nutritional support for children in pre-primary classes.

“A total of 170 master trainers specializing in early childhood care and education (ECCE) have received training,” he noted.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav previously remarked that the New Education Policy (NEP-2020) represents a pivotal move towards revitalizing India’s educational heritage that was diminished during the Macaulay period.

The NEP 2020 was introduced by the central government as a transformative framework designed to overhaul India's education system, superseding the NEP of 1986.

This new policy aims to create a more inclusive, equitable, and culturally rooted education system while equipping students with 21st-century skills.

It outlines a comprehensive approach to achieving universal foundational literacy and numeracy, holistic curriculum development, multilingual education, and the seamless blending of vocational and academic pathways.
