Ujjain, March 15 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced on Saturday that the state government is set to initiate the recruitment process for new employees across all departments, including the police, in the near future.

Recently, the state has successfully hired over 6,600 police personnel, with plans for an additional recruitment of more than 8,500 Constables and Sub-Inspectors.

This announcement was made during the 'Holi Milan' event held at the Police Line in Ujjain.

During his speech to the gathered police officers celebrating Holi, the Chief Minister stated, "We are committed to filling vacancies through ongoing recruitment efforts in every department."

CM Yadav praised the dedication of police officers, acknowledging the various challenges they face and highlighting their role in creating a secure environment for society.

He noted that police officers often spend festivals like Holi and Diwali away from their families to fulfill their duties with utmost commitment. The Chief Minister remarked, "Security personnel are held in high regard and play a vital role in society."

He emphasized, "Thanks to the police's service, citizens are able to celebrate Holi joyfully. The police serve as a crucial link for societal security. Celebrating Holi with police personnel in the city of Baba Mahakal is an honor for me."

In his address, Chief Minister Yadav reflected on the sacrifices made by police personnel during the Covid-19 pandemic (from March 2020 to 2022), recognizing their unwavering dedication to public service.

He remarked, "The contributions made by police personnel during the challenging Covid-19 period are exemplary of commitment in our nation's history. We take pride in our police force."

Additionally, CM Yadav mentioned that the state budget has allocated special resources for police personnel, including the approval of new vehicles, construction of police station buildings, and provision of adequate facilities to combat anti-social elements in Maoist-affected regions.
