Bhopal, Oct 28 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that the state government will establish a committee to initiate an integrated pension scheme aimed at addressing pension disparities among state employees.
During his address, the Chief Minister revealed that a new commission will be formed, consisting of retired senior officials, to tackle issues related to pay discrepancies, grade pay concerns, and changes in designations across various employee categories in the state.
These announcements were made at a Diwali Milan event hosted by the State Employees Federation at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Park in Bhopal.
Yadav emphasized that the government intends to promote all eligible officers and employees; despite ongoing legal matters, nearly 400,000 state employees are anticipated to benefit shortly.
He asserted that the cooperation of government employees is essential for the success of the administration, noting that their role is pivotal for the state's development.
“The happiness on the faces of our employees is the cornerstone of our advancement. Government employees are the true Karmayogis who bring every public welfare initiative to life at the grassroots,” he remarked.
He further stressed that it is the duty of all officers and employees to ensure prompt solutions to public concerns, declaring, “The government and administration are collaborating to boost progress across all sectors of the state.”
Additionally, the Chief Minister indicated that new recruitment drives will commence soon, with a plan to create 200,000 new positions.
“We will conduct a unified examination to simplify the hiring process for various positions,” he elaborated.
To accelerate police recruitment, a dedicated Police Recruitment Board is being established, with plans to fill 20,000 vacancies in the department.
“Recruitment has already started. Furthermore, 476 new posts for Anganwadi Supervisors have been approved, and for the first time, digital recruitment for 19,504 new positions of Anganwadi Workers and Assistants is in progress,” he added.
The Chief Minister noted that the state government has raised the dearness allowance for employees to 55%, matching the allowance for union government employees. Arrears have been disbursed in five installments between June and October 2025.
