Bhopal, Oct 31 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Madhya Pradesh as they prepare to celebrate the State's 70th Foundation Day on November 1.
Yadav remarked that since its inception on November 1, 1956, Madhya Pradesh has embarked on an impressive journey of development over the last two decades, positioning itself as one of India's premier states.
"Warm wishes and greetings to all citizens on the 70th Foundation Day of our cherished Madhya Pradesh. Together, let us strive to create an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat," said Yadav.
The Chief Minister noted the coincidence of this year’s Rajyotsav coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Devuthani Ekadashi.
“I’m delighted to announce that all festivals are being celebrated with great zeal and inclusivity. Our rich cultural heritage continues to foster the transition from the ancient to the contemporary,” he emphasized.
Yadav highlighted the state’s abundant history and heritage, stating that Madhya Pradesh is endowed with vast natural resources, cultural legacy, forests, rivers, fertile land, minerals, craftsmanship, art, and traditions.
“We are blessed with the divine presence of rivers Narmada, Chambal, Parvati, and Shipra, and the blessings of Lord Mahakal. This land is known as the birthplace of Lord Parashuram, the site of learning for Lord Krishna, and where Adi Shankaracharya meditated,” stated Yadav.
In this state, Lord Ram spent significant time in Chitrakoot, where illustrious rulers like King Nala, Bhartrihari, and Vikramaditya once ruled.
Samrat Vikramaditya liberated India from Shaka oppression, and the world’s first scientific calendar, Vikram Samvat, originated in Ujjain.
“It fills me with pride to say that Madhya Pradesh is progressing steadily from its historical glory to comprehensive development while preserving its natural beauty,” said the Chief Minister.
Yadav mentioned that in the past year, the state has reached significant milestones in industrial investment, with his government striving to attract further development.
The Chief Minister asserted that during his government’s last two years, the state has made historic strides in industry, agriculture, dairy, energy, environment, and social empowerment.
"A smile on every poor person’s face, prosperity for every farmer, respect for every woman, and a bright future for every youth — this is our unwavering commitment and goal," Yadav concluded.
