In Gandhinagar, on March 17, a team of officers from the National Defence College (NDC) in New Delhi met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to explore the state's economic growth strategy as part of a national initiative focused on economic security.

Addressing the group, Patel remarked that Gujarat has transformed into a “policy-driven state” and a “model for development” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Thanks to the Vibrant Summit, Gujarat has become a favored location for global industrial investors,” he stated, highlighting ongoing efforts to foster green growth and balanced regional economic development through various conferences.
He further mentioned that tourism projects, such as the Statue of Unity, have stimulated local economies, while infrastructure enhancements, including continuous electricity supply, improved road connectivity, and an extensive canal system transporting Narmada waters to Kutch, have bolstered overall development.
