Ranchi, May 5 (NationPress) - The president of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Hemant Soren, made a significant announcement on Monday regarding the party’s newly formed 63-member central committee. This committee features a diverse mix of senior leaders, tribal representatives, and essential functionaries.

Notably, six members of the Soren family are included: Shibu Soren, Hemant Soren, Rupi Soren, Basant Soren, Kalpana Soren, and Anjani Soren.

Out of the total members, 31 individuals are from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community, highlighting the party's robust tribal foundation.

This announcement came after the 13th central convention of the JMM held in Ranchi on April 14-15, during which Shibu Soren was appointed as the founding patron, and Hemant Soren was elected as president through a voice vote in front of approximately 4,000 delegates.
