Hyderabad, May 12 (NationPress) A new chapter begins in Tollywood as another NTR steps into the limelight. The fourth-generation actor from the esteemed NTR family made his debut on Monday.
Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR), sharing a name with his legendary great-grandfather, has officially entered Telugu cinema with the launch of the first look in a film helmed by YVS Chowdary.
This promising actor is the grandson of the late Nandamuri Harikrishna and the son of the late film producer Nandamuri Janakiram. He is also the nephew of renowned actors Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram.
The film's puja ceremony took place on Monday, attended by his great aunts, G. Lokeswari, Daggubati Purandeswari, and Naara Bhuvaneswari.
Bhuvaneswari, married to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, performed the Mahurat clap.
“From the early loss of his father to blossoming into a prominent figure in our family, Tarak has brought us immense pride. Today is a significant milestone as my grandnephew, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, begins his cinematic journey with the launch of his first look. May he uphold the Nandamuri legacy. Wishing him all the success!” Bhuvaneswari shared on ‘X’.
Chandrababu Naidu, who is the son-in-law of the legendary NTR, also shared his congratulations on his grandnephew’s debut.
“Sending warm wishes to Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, son of the late Shri Janakiram Garu, as he steps into the film industry. May he achieve great success with the unveiling of his debut film’s first look today,” Naidu expressed.
Naidu’s son and Andhra Pradesh minister, Nara Lokesh, also offered his congratulations to the new NTR.
“Overwhelmed with pride and emotion as we celebrate the debut of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, son of late Janakiram garu and great-grandson of the legendary Sri NTR garu. As NTR’s grandson, I am deeply touched to see the legacy continue through Tarak. I wish him tremendous success and strength. The Nandamuri flame shines brighter with him,” Lokesh posted.
Jr NTR, one of Tollywood’s leading actors, previously extended his best wishes to the debutant in October of last year.

The legendary NTR entered politics in 1982 by founding the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He made a remarkable achievement by coming to power within just nine months of the party’s inception, serving as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh from 1983 to 1989 and again in 1994-95. He passed away in 1996 at the age of 72.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, one of NTR’s seven sons, is also a well-known actor in Tollywood.
