Firoz Khan, hailing from the Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh, marks the 11th individual to be detained in this matter. He was taken into custody by the NIA after being presented at the NIA Special Court in Jaipur by officials from Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, according to an official statement.

This case pertains to the seizure of explosives and components used for constructing an improvised explosive device (IED), executed by a 'naka' party in the Nimbaheda region of Chittorgarh.

The NIA subsequently assumed control of the investigation and registered the case RC-18/2022/NIA/DLI in April 2022.

Investigations revealed that Firoz Khan had conspired with other accused individuals and had participated in meetings at the poultry farm of accused Imran Khan to plan the conspiracy.

Under Imran's directives, he procured various chemical substances intended for the fabrication of IEDs.

He transferred these materials to Imran, as reported by officials. Firoz had been on the run for three years, with a standing arrest warrant issued against him by the NIA Special Court in Jaipur.

Firoz is part of the 11 accused for whom the NIA filed a chargesheet in September 2022, citing violations of sections 4, 5, 6 of the Explosive Substances Act 1908, sections 16, 18, 18A, 20 of the UA(P) Act 1967, and sections 120B, 121A, 122 of the IPC.
