Aurangabad, Sep 13 (NationPress) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, confidently declared that the NDA government is poised to be reinstated in Bihar under the guidance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his address at the NDA workers' conference at Gandhi Maidan, Rai launched a fierce critique against the Congress and RJD, accusing opposition parties of consistently misleading the public — yet, he noted that the citizens of Bihar are now more vigilant and informed.
Nityanand Rai remarked: “When Congress held power at the national level, individuals from all communities in India faced disgrace abroad. They were mistreated. We enacted the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) to restore the honor of Indians. Now, nobody can insult an Indian.”
He further targeted the opposition by stating: “The NDA does not oppose our Muslim brothers, but we categorically reject figures like Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who divided our nation for personal gain — and we will continue to do so.”
Highlighting his agricultural roots, the minister expressed: “As the son of a farmer, I can assess crop yields merely by standing at the edge of a field and sensing the atmosphere. Therefore, I can assert today — no one can hinder us from forming the government in Bihar.”
Enumerating the NDA's accomplishments, Rai claimed that Bihar is advancing at a remarkable pace. He pointed out enhancements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, electricity, and drinking water initiatives, which he believes are propelling the state toward success. He mentioned that the central government has allocated ₹14 lakh crore to Bihar, hastening its development.
Rai also criticized the Congress, stating: “The Congress, which once deceived Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s voters, is now disparaging Prime Minister Modi and his mother. The people of Bihar will respond appropriately.”
The event saw the presence of notable figures, including former MP Sushil Kumar Singh and MP Devesh Chandra Thakur.
