Noida, March 1 (NationPress) The team from the Noida Sector-58 police station made a significant breakthrough by apprehending four individuals linked to the theft of a builder's residence. Authorities also disclosed the modus operandi employed by these criminals during the heist that occurred on February 22.

This incident is marked by another crucial detail, as the Delhi Police had previously detained two suspects involved in this case.

As per DCP of Noida Police, Ram Badan Singh, the robbery transpired on February 22, 2025, when Rahul, a newly employed servant in the builder's home, along with two accomplices, executed the theft.

Upon discovering the house was vacant, the perpetrators accessed the cupboard keys and made off with gold and silver jewelry, cash, and essential documents. They also stole a Fortuner vehicle, which was later abandoned in Noida’s Sector 61 before they fled, the police official informed the media.

A case was filed at the Sector 58 police station following the incident. After thorough investigations, police arrested four suspects: Amit Kumar Rawat, Devender Kumar alias Rahul, Guddu Kumar Kamat, and Raman Kamat on Saturday.

From the detainees, a total of Rs 6 lakh in cash was recovered, and thus far, stolen items worth Rs 10.7 lakh have been seized. During interrogation, the suspects disclosed that they had meticulously planned the robbery in advance. They revealed to the police that they had been in contact with security personnel and domestic workers from Madhubani, Bihar.

Furthermore, the accused had fabricated a fake Aadhar card and used it to apply for a cook position in Noida. After obtaining employment, they proceeded to execute their plan to rob the builder's home and subsequently fled.
