New Delhi, July 21 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared on Monday that Operation Sindoor signifies a "Vijay Utsav (victory celebration)" for the nation. He expressed optimism that Parliament will deliberate on this triumphant military operation, which is poised to not only bolster the Indian Armed Forces but also uplift the spirits of the citizens.
While addressing the media prior to the Monsoon Session of Parliament, PM Modi extolled Operation Sindoor, stating, "This Monsoon Session is a 'Vijay Utsav'. The entire world has witnessed the prowess of the Indian Armed Forces. The objective set for Operation Sindoor was completely fulfilled. The terrorists were neutralised at their own bases, and within just 22 minutes, the operation was concluded."
"I announced it at an event in Bihar, where our Indian Armed Forces showcased their capabilities during this operation. The idea of 'Made in India', which reflects a new dimension of India's military strength, has garnered international attention. Whenever I engage with people from different nations, I observe a rising interest in Made in India weaponry," he noted.
Expressing his wish for a discussion on the success of Operation Sindoor in Parliament, PM Modi remarked, "When the House conveys its sentiments of victory for this 'Vijay Utsav' in a unified voice during this session, it will fortify India's military might, motivate the citizens, and spur research, innovation, and manufacturing in the defence sector, ultimately creating job opportunities for the youth."
Reflecting on the recent mission of Indian astronaut Subhanshu Shukla to the International Space Station, the Prime Minister asserted, "This Monsoon Session is a proud moment for the nation. It embodies a true celebration of victory for the country. When I refer to this session as a celebration of national pride and accomplishment, I must emphasize one of the most extraordinary moments—the Indian Tricolour being displayed for the first time at the International Space Station."
"This is a moment of pride for every Indian. This successful mission has sparked excitement and enthusiasm for science, technology, and innovation among the youth. All parliamentarians and citizens of India will unite with enthusiasm to celebrate the remarkable achievements that have reached new heights in space," he added.
The Prime Minister also described the monsoon as "a symbol of renewal and rejuvenation" and stated that the weather patterns across the country are "progressing very positively".
"Reports indicate that the monsoon is favorable for agriculture, which subsequently benefits the farmers' economy, the national economy, and the rural economy," he concluded.
