Akola, June 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, articulated on Wednesday that Operation Sindoor has introduced a new era for India, effectively dismantling terrorist camps and military runways within Pakistan.

He remarked, "Previously, during conflicts, our gaze was directed overseas. However, with the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has achieved self-sufficiency. The power of our nation was vividly demonstrated through 'Operation Sindoor'."

Fadnavis noted that Pakistan had to appeal to Prime Minister Modi for a ceasefire, countering US President Donald Trump's assertion of mediation.

His comments were made at the Vikas Samvad event held in Akola.

On this occasion, notable figures including State Public Works Minister Shivendraraje Bhonsle, BJP Working President Ravindra Chavan, Guardian Minister Akash Fundkar, MP Anup Dhotre, and several legislators from the BJP were present.

CM Fadnavis launched 19 development initiatives valued at Rs 2,700 crore.

During his address, he outlined numerous development projects executed by both the Central and state governments.

He stated, "The nation has transformed significantly in the past 11 years. According to a World Bank report from 2013, poverty in India was at 27 percent; today, it stands at just 5 percent. PM Modi's vision for the welfare of the impoverished has been pivotal. The Modi administration has provided three lakh homes to Maharashtra, ensuring no individual remains homeless in the state."

Fadnavis highlighted the achievements of the MahaYuti government, mentioning the successful implementation of the first 100-day action plan that has transformed government operations. Looking ahead, he announced that all government services will transition online, with a partnership established with WhatsApp. By December, residents will access all services via WhatsApp.

He emphasized that this transition will promote a more dynamic and transparent administration.

On the topic of air travel from Akola, Fadnavis remarked, "The commitment made regarding the Amravati-Mumbai air route has been fulfilled, and we will soon resolve the runway issue at Shivneri airport in Akola, allowing flights to commence from there as well."
