Thousands of travelers have been left stranded following IndiGo's cancellation of numerous flights over the past six days.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture, chaired by JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha, is likely to convene with senior executives from airlines, along with officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The committee aims to probe the reasons behind these cancellations and to ascertain what measures are being implemented to avert similar occurrences in the future.

Even several MPs present for the Winter Session of Parliament in Delhi were impacted by IndiGo's cancellations, as well as delays from other airlines.

On Sunday alone, IndiGo scrapped over 220 flights at both Delhi and Mumbai airports, marking the sixth consecutive day of crisis.
The DGCA had previously issued notices to IndiGo's CEO Pieter Elbers and COO Porqueras, seeking clarification regarding the extensive disruptions.
In a statement released on Sunday, IndiGo announced the formation of a Crisis Management Group by the Board of InterGlobe Aviation, its parent company, to closely monitor the evolving situation.
